Description

Duramycin 300 L.A. is a sterile oxytetracycline formulation, a wide spectrum antibiotic. It is a long acting antibiotic for prevention and treatment of acute infections in livestock animals.

Indication

For treatment of MMA (mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome) in sows and in piglets it contributes to control of infectious enteritis (new born diarrhea, colibacillosis) and bacterial disease secondary to viral disease. It is also recommended for the metaphylaxis against Bovine Respiratory Disease in cattle of “high risk” arriving at feedlots. For shipping fever pneumonia, whitlow, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, actinobacillosis, leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, infected wounds, acute metritis, septicemic mastitis, umbilical/joint infections, dermatophilosis, all other non-specific infections and secondary bacterial infection due to viral diseases. bedsoniasis, prevention of post-delivery infections,

Dosage

1 ml / 10 kg BW (30mg oxytetracycline/ kg BW) or  1 ml / 15 kg BW ( 20 mg / kg BW) IM injection

Withdrawal Period

1/15 kg BW = 14 days after last treatment

1/10 kg BW= 28 days after last treatment

Store in a cool dry place, protected from light between 8-30 ⁰C
